2023 Turkey Trots in Westchester
Thanksgiving is quickly approaching! Many towns are hosting Turkey Trots in Westchester to raise funds for local charities as well as to encourage community fun and movement. Additionally, many have kid-friendly aka short runs so everyone can break a sweat before or after turkey day.

CHHOP Presents: The Turkey Trot 2023 (Peekskill)
Participate in the Caring for the Hungry and Homeless of Peekskill’s upcoming Turkey Trot. Registration opens on Saturday, November 18th at the Gazebo in Downtown Peekskill at 8:00am. While registration is free, participants should bring a frozen turkey, ham, or chicken for donation. Donations will benefit CHHOP’s turkey giveaway and Fred’s Pantry.

Turkey Trot(Mamaroneck)
This fun Turkey Trot includes a 5K and a one-mile gobbler race. Held at Harbor Island Park, all participants receive a free t-shirt and medal during the Turkey Trot. 60-98 Harbor Island Park, Mamaroneck, NY 10543.

Trudy Dunbar Memorial 5K Turkey Trot & Gobbler Trot (Tarrytown)

Peter K. Oley Turkey Trot (Irvington)
Starting at the Dows Elementary School, this Turkey Trot honors Peter Oley, a longtime track coach in Irvington. This race includes a 2.5 mile course that loops through the village and finishes by the Aqueduct in Memorial Park. New Rochelle Turkey Trot (New Rochelle)
This kid-friendly Turkey Trot includes a Tot Trot for kids ages five and under; a Kids’ Mile for ages 10 and under; and a 5K walk/run. Additionally, this 7th annual celebration ends with an awards ceremony. 475 North Ave, New Rochelle, NY 10801.

Westchester Turkey Trot(Vahalla)
Participate in this annual Turkey Trot as a 5K or a 10K. They also have two runs for kids with the 5K Kid’s Division Fun Run (11 Years and Under) and the Kids 100M Dash (age 8 & under). All participants can enjoy Duck Donuts at the finish line and proceeds from the run will go towards Hillside Food Outreach. Vahalla, NY.
