Youth Business Market at Tilly Foster Farm
Calling all young entrepreneurs! The Putnam County Youth Bureau and Friends are offering kids ages 5 to 17 a hands-on way to learn about small business by selling their products and services to the public at the first annual Youth Business Market. The young vendors will have an opportunity to learn about business and enjoy the art of giving a service and the value of a dollar.
The rain-or-shine event will take place Sunday, June 9, noon to 4pm at Tilly Foster Farm, located at 100 NY-312, Brewster, New York (in Putnam County).
The Youth Business Market allows kids to dive into the world of entrepreneurship and leadership through hands-on selling experiences with every product showcased crafted by the kids themselves. In line with Putnam County’s Think Differently initiative every child, regardless of ability, can fully participate and shine.
This is a family-friendly community event to help foster strong bonds and educate future business leaders. Visitors can expect a day where the community comes together to support our future young business leaders. Bring your family and friends, engage with the youth who are vending, enjoy food or pack a picnic lunch and enjoy beautiful Tilly Foster Farm, where you can visit the farm animals, go fishing (bring your pole) and more!
