Friday Night Frights at Peace, Love & Pumpkins (Bethel)
Go into the woods of Bethel to view thousands of hand-carved jack-o-lantern art, with a twist. This walk-thru attraction is scary and intended for older audiences. Hudson Horrors at Rye Playland (Rye)
Visit Rye Playland for a spook adventure this October with Hudson Horrors. This hour-long experience using elements of live theater, featuring over 60 characters that immerses visitors into three haunted experiences such as the toy factory, hospital, and mansion. Halloween House Westchester (White Plains)
This new indoor experience is an experience for all ages. Guests will enjoy their favorite haunted house experiences without all of the blood, gore, and characters jumping in your space. The experience is dubbed as more “spooky” than scary. Guests enjoy a 40-45 minute walk-thru experience, which runs from 11:00am-8:00pm. Scared by the Sound (Yorktown Heights)
This iconic haunted experience has been running in Westchester for the past 21 years, and is back this year at a new location in Yorktown Heights. Experience creatures from the crypt, asylum, cemetery and more who eagerly await your arrival this Halloween season. Not-So-Scary (Norwalk)
For a not-so-scary experience catered towards kids, visit The SoNo Collection where you and your kids will enjoy fun challenges and meet fun characters! This includes goofy creatures, bewitching tricks, some challenging tasks, and make some new friends along the way. Produced by the The Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts, this immersive experience designed for kids ages 10 and under. The hunt takes about 30 to 45 minutes to complete. Norwalk Fright Nights: Into the Depp (Norwalk, CT)
Make this a Halloween to remember by experiencing Norwalk Fright Nights: Into the Depp, a frightening 30-minute walk-through haunted house filled with outlandish surprises at every turn. Produced by The Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts, this year’s theme is inspired by the spirited movie characters portrayed by the actor Johnny Depp.
This live experience features dozens of live actors, amazing set designs, and enough thrills for a lifetime. There is also bar service and lounge seating available. Norwalk Fright Nights and Into the Depp are a part of the larger fundraising efforts produced by The Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts. All proceeds benefit the organization’s student scholarship fund, which provides support for young talent to attend college and study the arts. Kevin McCurdy’s Haunted Mansion (Wappingers Falls)
For a seriously spooky Halloween experience visit the Kevin McCurdy’s Haunted Mansion. The haunted experience includes two attractions (the Asylum and the Wicked Woods). Post screams enjoy food, drinks, and mini donuts. Reservations are required.
