Winter Train Show Details

The train show is held at Hudson Park Children’s Greenhouse. This non-profit organization is dedicated to providing horticultural programs for children and the community of New Rochelle. They host events, greenhouse classes, and more. This winter, families can enjoy their new Winter Train Show. This includes an intricate train set with five tracks in two different scales. Incredibly, this is the first-ever train show of its kind at the Hudson Park Children’s Greenhouse.

Curated by HPCG President Milijana “Millie” Radonjic-Ilich and committee member John Hessel, the train show captures the spirit of childhood wonder and fascination. This includes a transformed greenhouse with intricately crafted scale model trains.

Firstly, families will love looking at the beautiful landscape and London-themed city with over 20+ ceramic landmarks. Secondly, the train show features a U.S.-inspired setup. Here, you will see a miniature Home Depot, the New Rochelle train station, a charming hotel, a picturesque church, houses, people, cars, and much more. Highlights also include a detailed miniature city hall, hotels, churches, houses, cars, people, mountains, and farm animals. Finally, the train runs on four different tracks in two different scales. Additionally, the tracks are also illuminated and lit up at night as trains wind through mountains, past a serene lake with skaters, creating a mesmerizing experience for all visitors.

A fantastic event for all ages, Hudson Park Children’s Greenhouse also kept this experience affordable at $5 per person. Additionally, there is free parking.
