We were blown away by Tania’s tables from Instagram and very excited to share more about how she created this business, and how you can work with her to create your own special table for your next party.
Westchester Family: How did the idea for Une Table by Tania come about?
Tania Pennaneach: I have always had a passion for creating beautiful tablescapes. I wanted to share my passion and talents with others, and so I started Une Table by Tania to offer tablescape and floral design services to my clients.
Tania Pennaneach: During the holidays, we often create tablescapes with a festive and seasonal theme. This might include incorporating traditional holiday colors, such as red and green, or maybe an all-white winter wonderland theme. The possibilities are endless!
We can create an indoor luxury picnic with hints of gold and silver, or provide a warm cozy Holiday movie night under the stars in our bubble tent complete with cozy blankets, popcorn and hot chocolate.
Tania Pennaneach: My background is actually in early childhood education. I resigned last year to pursue my passion full time. I am a creative person, and for as far as I can remember, I’ve always had a knack for designing and hosting events. I started my first event planning business 10 years ago after a slumber party I hosted for my daughter’s birthday!
Une Table by Tania: Some of my favorite tips for decorating during the holidays are to incorporate elements that reflect the season, such as pine cones and holly berries.
I also love elegant all-white tablescapes with silver and gold accents, or a rustic and cozy tablescape with evergreen garland. I also love to use sparkling lights and candles to add a warm and cozy ambiance to the space.
Finally, I recommend using a mix of textures, such as fur, velvet, and metallics, to add depth and interest to the table.
Tania Pennaneach: We provide decor services for a variety of occasions, including birthdays, bridal showers, children parties, micro weddings, corporate events, and private parties. We also offer luxury picnic services, and movie night packages which are a great option for outdoor events in the warmer months.
Westchester Family: Is there such a thing as a “perfect” table?
Tania Pennaneach: The “perfect” table is ultimately a matter of personal preference, as different people have different tastes and styles. However, I believe that for a gathering, a well-designed table should be visually appealing, and create an ambiance or experience for your guests that will heighten all their senses.
It’s about all the layers, the texture of the linen, the flickering of the candles, the smell of the flowers. These sensory elements will bring your event to life.
