Westchester kids look on in amazement as the Christmas tree literally grows on stage! This classic holiday story never gets old. As the clock chimes midnight, a brave young girl turns the tide in a battle between toy soldiers and mischievous mice. Then, a blizzard of ballerinas reveals a wonderful world of confection. Performances are daily through Dec. 31. Check the website for times. Tickets range from $110 to $300. Reservations are required.

The Nutcracker
This production is a winter tradition for Westchester families. Central Park Dance returns this holiday season with its fourth annual production of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker. This beloved classic features over 100 local dancers. See the show at 1 pm and 5:30 pm on Dec. 15. Admission is $22 to $42. Reservations are required.

Nutcracker Dream
Nutcracker Dream is a beautiful interpretation of the holiday classic. This show illustrates the beautiful balance between Marie’s childhood playfulness and her coming of age. An ideal performance of this Nutcracker for Westchester kids. Showtimes are at 2 pm and 5 pm on Dec. 15, 22 and  28. In addition, at  3 pm and 7 pm on Dec. 21. Admission costs are $25 for adults and $20 for children. Reservations are required.

The Nutcracker Performed by the Westchester Ballet Company
Westchester kids enjoy the thrill of this professionally produced live production. This Nutcracker offers exquisite choreography, stunning costumes, and exciting special effects.  See the show at 10 am on Dec. 13. You can also see it at  12:30 pm and 4:30 pm on Dec. 14. in addition, at 2 pm on Dec. 15. Admission prices range from $15 to $35. Reservations are required.
