Walk Now for Autism

Today 1 in 68 children (1 in 42 boys and 1 in 189 girls) is diagnosed as having autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Autism Speaks invites you to support and celebrate individuals and families living with autism at the 2014 Westchester/Fairfield Walk Now for Autism Speaks.

Held on the lovely campus of New York-Presbyterian Hospital, 21 Bloomingdale Road, White Plains, the fun-filled family event will fund important research on autism, a fast-growing developmental disorder.

Register now to be part of the solution. Strollers, wheelchairs and even kids in wagons are welcome on the walk. Walk as an individual, or form a corporate, school or family team.

Event will be held June 1, 2014. 9 a.m. registration and resource fair open; 10 a.m. opening ceremonies; 11 a.m. ribbon cutting and walk. Look for Westchester Family – we’ll be there. For further information call 934-5138.
