We are officially in the the holiday shopping season. The heart of our Westchester towns are made up of small businesses and family-owned establishments who greatly rely on the support of local holiday shopping and Small Business Saturday. Below, we are sharing a list of places offering special offers and events for Small Business Saturday – and beyond!

Downtown Peekskill Shop Small Saturday

Find a special holiday gift in downtown Peekskill. This Saturday, you’ll find special offers and gifts at a variety of local establishments. This includes shopping at Blondery, The Lounge House, The Fern Tree, Stark Vintage, and much more.

Pelham Chamber of Commerce

The Pelham Chamber of Commerce is hosting a fun day of shopping at their Winter Wonderland event. Held from November 25th from 12:00pm-4:00pm, families can enjoy a fun day with activities and local shopping. This includes game, a petting zoo, horse and carriage rides, a tree lighting, a visit from Santa, face painting, caroling, and more. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to shop the Pelham Holiday Market featuring local Westchester vendors. Rain date is November 26th.

Small Business Saturday and Free Parking in New Rochelle

The town of New Rochelle is is supporting shopping locally by offering free two hour parking from 9:00am-9:00pm. This includes street metered parking and parking in municipal lots and garages such as City Hall, Lawn Avenue, Library South, North Avenue at the I-95 Thruway, Prospect Street, Union Avenue, New Roc Garage, New Rochelle Transit Center and Skyline Garage. Additionally, normal parking resumes on Sunday, November 26th.

Saturday, November 25th from 10am-5pm and Sunday November 26th from 10am-3pm
Shop Small Makers Market (Tarrytown)

Visit Makers Market at their 3rd Annual Shop Small Makers Market. Find artisan-made goods from over 2o local makers, bakers, brewers, and more. Some brands/makers include Connor McGinn Studios, C-los Carpentry, Nat Sur Organic Jewelry, Adonia Floral Design, and much more. Additionally, during this open studio time, you will be able to view handmade ceramic, paper, wood, concrete, leather, steel, fabric, floral, and food creations. 84 Central Ave, Tarrytown, NY 10591.

Rivertowns Chamber Shop Local Holiday Trolley 

While this event doesn’t take place on Small Business Saturday, you and your kids can enjoy a season of local shopping with this 5th Annual Holiday Trolley event. Held on Saturday, December 2nd from 11am-5pm, this hop-on, hop-off Holiday Trolley event features student carollers and special guests where you can use their shop local guide as a reference to the various downtowns. This includes stops every hour in Hastings-on-Hudson, Dobbs Ferry, and Irvington. Some trolley stops include HudCo, The Good Witch, VFW Plaza, and more. Tickets must be purchased in advance for the trolley.

Holiday Market and Family Day

Visit Muscoot Farm and shop locally at their annual Holiday Market. Held on Sunday November 24th from 9:30am-2:30pm, shop and meet local vendors such as A Guy a Girl and a Kayak, Ack Boutique, Bombay Chutney Company, Liquid Fables, Manor Sangria, Meredith’s Country Bakery, M and M Italian Provisions, PickleLicious, Sterling Bake Shop, Zen Succulents, and more. Small Business Saturday and Artists and Author Ned Snider Presents “Fever Dream”

Find your loved one a new favorite book at the Katonah Reading Room this Small Business Saturday. They are also hosting author Ned Snider from 2:00pm-4:00pm who will be presenting “Fever Dream,” a collection of his graphite drawings. Additionally, a signing follows the discussion.
