Perinatal & Postpartum Support Groups in Westchester

The arrival of a new baby is a beautiful and transformative experience for any family. Along with building a solid support system at home, new parents can also benefit from seeking help from their community. Pregnancy and postpartum support groups are a valuable resource for parents, whether they are welcoming their first child or already have experience with parenting.

Perinatal and postpartum support groups, while offering various services, all share one crucial element: foster a profound sense of community. These groups provide a haven where parents can connect with others who truly understand their journey, creating a warm and welcoming environment. They are not just a place to ask questions, learn, and share stories; they are a space where new parents can find solace and make friends.

Finding these support groups can be daunting. Unfortunately, the lack of free resources in our communities is evident, and it can be overwhelming for parents to navigate. Some may give up looking for this support altogether, but we’re here to help. We’ve found a few local support groups, many of them offering free resources, that you can join today.
