Food Bank of Westchester

Recently, harness drivers at Yonkers Raceway and employees of Empire City Casino teamed up to help Food Bank for Westchester. Together the group, which included General Manager Bob Galterio, harness drivers Jason Bartlett; Brent Holland (along with his wife and three kids); Jordan Stratton; and Larry Stalbaun, as well as nearly three dozen other employees, bagged a ton and a half of beans, as well as 1,560 dozen bagels for the needy. Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester

GlenArbor Golf Club in Bedford Hills was the scene of the fundraising tournament that raised $30,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester. Following the tournament, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception including an artisanal spirit tasting sponsored by Mount Kisco Wines & Spirits as well as hand rolled cigars from La Casa Grande Tobacco Company. An awards presentation took place during dinner along with live and silent auctions featuring such items as sports tickets, golf foursomes, golf lessons and luxury vacation packages. Gilda’s Club

The Gilda’s Club Westchester 4th Annual Women’s Tennis Classic was held at Sunningdale Country Club in Scarsdale. Funds raised by the event benefit Gilda’s Club Westchester, a free cancer support community for men, women, teens and children living with any type of cancer – along with their family and friends. Innovative programs provide emotional and social support through networking and support groups, lectures and workshops, education and social activities.
