Get Muddy for a Good Cause at Mess Fest
Ready to make a mess? Like a really, really big mess? Check out “Mess Fest” this weekend with your kids as a way to give back while having a blast! Hosted by Muddy Puddles Project to benefit the Ty Louis Campbell Foundation, this family-friendly event raises funds and awareness for childhood cancer research. It was created to honor Ty Louis Campbell who was a five-year-old from Pawling, New York. He dreamed of jumping in muddy puddles but never got the chance as he lost his battle with brain cancer in 2012. The organization was started by his parents, which is now celebrating its 9th year. Check out more about what to expect at Mess Fest.
Check out even more Westchester weekend activities to get on your radar!
Held at Kiwi Day Camp, this fun family day includes tons of interactive activities for your kids. This includes a long list of dream activities (some of which are in tented areas). Highlights include lwater balloons, paddle boats, water slides/slip ‘n’ slides, magic shows, laser tag, zip lines, splatter paint, pie tosses, food fights, muddy puddle jumping, zip lining, swimming, climbing walls, a “slopstacle course,” and much more. A VIP tented area is also available for families who have been impacted by cancer.
Peppa Pig and his brother George will also be in attendance where your kids can meet and take pictures with them.
A fun and messy day for everyone, you’ll have fun giving back, trying new things, and getting really muddy.
