Westchester has PRIDE. In celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and Pride Month, you and your family can participate in tons of community events, concerts, pet contests, screenings, and festivals throughout Westchester. Many have flag raising ceremonies, parades, arts and crafts, drag queen storytimes, and more that promote inclusivity, equal rights, and understanding for people of all ages. Celebrate, support, and have fun at these Westchester pride events:

New Rochelle Pride Day at City Hall
Wednesday, June 1st;4:00pm-8:00pm

Celebrate pride at City Hall with a flag raising as well as shopping from local vendors and business and music. This 3rd Annual Celebration will also include giveaways, snacks, and more. New Rochelle City Hall Front Lawn.

Free Screening of Coded
Thursday, June 2nd; 7:30pm

The Progressive Women of Pelham are showcasing the movie Coded: The Hidden Love of J.C. Leyendecker. J.C. Leyendecker was an illustrator who often coded his drawings with LGBTQ imagery. Hasting Friday Pride Night
Friday, June 3rd from 6:00pm-9:00-pm
Rain date, June 10th

Kick-off the evening at the Good Witch Coffee Bar from 3:30pm-5:45pm with a family flag-making activity and then march along Warburton Avenue. Plus,enjoy a jumbo rainbow slide, face painting, kids’ activities, crafts, dancing, food and drink, and more. Warburton Avenue, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.

Pound Ridge Proud Day and Color Run
Saturday, June 4th; 9:00am – 4:00pm

Start your day with a Pound Ridge Color Run where you and your family opt for the 5K or the shorter run as you get doused with bright colors. Then, enjoy Pound Ridge Proud Day with kids’ activities, the chance to see the battle of the bands, participate in service projects and more!

Westchester Pride 2022
Sunday, June 5th; 11:30am-5:00pm and 6:00pm – 8:30pm (afterparty)

Held in White Plains, this annual outdoor festival is packed with activities, including a flag raising, pet parade, an interactive family zone, music, dancing, the Homecoming Queer Contest, and an after party with music from DJ Hausbo. The event is free. Downtown White Plains, Court Street between Martine and Main Street.

Yonkers Pride Celebration
Friday, June 10th from 4:30pm-5:30pm
Saturday, June 11th from 2:00pm-8:00pm

Kick-off Pride in Yonkers with a flag raising on Friday, followed by an all-day community festival on Saturday. The outdoor festival includes entertainment, food, shopping, activities, and numerous community organizations. Downtown Yonkers, Main St, Yonkers, NY, 10701

Annual Block Party Celebrating Black LGBTQ+ Pride
Thursday, June 9th from 7:00pm – 9:00pm

Hosted by the Rockland County Pride and Nyack NAACP, enjoy music, food, and connecting with the community. The event kicks off after the dedication ceremony of Bayard Rustin Way. Hezekiah Easter Veteran’s Memorial Square, 15 Cedar Street, Nyack, NY 10960.

Yorktown Pride
Saturday, June 11th from 1:00pm-7:00pm

March with the community at 1:00pm and then celebrate at 3:00pm with performances, speakers, and food. The event ends with a party at 7pm at the Yorktown Grille. Yorktown Town Hall and Yorktown United Methodist Church, 2300 Crompond Rd, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598.

Rockland County Pride Center- Pride Sunday 2022 — Capital Pride 2022
Sunday, June 12th from 12:00pm-5:00pm

Enjoy a fun day with food, drinks, and the community in celebration of pride. The all day event and family-friendly event also includes live music, drag queens, dining, shopping, and local vendors. Screening of Pride Over Prejudice: Queer Life Across Generations
June 14th – June 29th, various times

See a screening of In Pride Over Prejudice: Queer Life Across Generations, showcasing the work of those who have been fighting for equality. Peekskill Pride in the Park
Saturday, June 25th from 1:00pm-5:00pm

Celebrate pride with the whole family at the 2nd Annual Family Pride in the Park day. The free event includes an appearance by Westchester Circus Arts, a drag queen story time and performance, spoken word, a craft, a pet photo contest and more. Pugsley Park, 1036 Main Street, Peekskill, NY 10566.

Bedford, Lewisboro, and Pound Ridge Pride in the Park
