These basketball greats are all involved with Teaches Basketball Camps right here in Westchester. Teaches Basketball Camps began when a father-son team, Terry and Stan Teachout, decided to run a camp together with the goal of doing something together as they had always done – play hoops! Their passion for the game spawned into expanding camps and programming as the concept of fun and participation was welcomed by kids and parents.
Teaches offers multiple NBA player camps in addition to many local camps that are held in the towns of Armonk, Cortlandt, Irvington, Rye, White Plains and Yorktown. Teaches also runs basketball camps after school and on school breaks.
