Fortina and Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley Team Up for a Creative Collaboration
Delicious news from Fortina and Make-A-Wish of Hudson Valley and Make-A-Wish Connecticut. They recently partnered up with Fortina to provide memorable experiences to children with critical illnesses.
Last month, seven wish children visited Fortina where they created their very own signature pizzas that you and your family can try!
From now until August 2023, Fortina will feature one of the children’s pies on the menu, with net proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley and Make-A-Wish Connecticut. These creative kids crafted and designed pies that are delicious and benefit an incredible cause.
In February, you will find “The Pizza” created by 6-year-old, Chef Will of Dutchess County. His creative pie includes marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, and french fries!
In March, you’ll find the “Princess Pizza” made by three-year-old, Chef Charlotte from Westchester. Her pie includes marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, bacon, and chicken tenders.
In April, you’ll find the “Bacaroni” pie on he menu created by 15-year-old Chef Arianna. This pie includes marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, bacon, and pepperoni. For May, the menu will feature the “The Poke Ball Pizza,” crafted by 7-year-old chef Roman. The pie includes marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, and olives.
In June, eight-year-old Chef Ben’s pie includes marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, pineapple and crispy bacon. In July, you’ll find Chef Marissa’s “Cheesy Mimi”, which includes marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, basil, ricotta, garlic confit, and topped with parmesan cheese. For the last month, you’ll find a signature pie from five-year-old Ellie of Ulster County.
