How Feast & Fettle Works

Westchester Family: How did the idea for Feast & Fettle come about?

Feast & Fettle: Feast & Fettle was founded in 2016 by private chef Maggie Pearson. While providing wholesome meals for busy families in Providence, RI, Maggie noticed demand growing for fresh, high-quality meal options. She started cooking out of her home using quality, seasonal ingredients and delivering meals to her first eight members.

Since 2016, the business has expanded to serve over 10,000 members across the Northeast. Westchester County is the most recent addition to our delivery area. Throughout our growth, we’ve maintained a commitment to sourcing only the freshest ingredients. This includes testing each recipe until it’s just right. Additionally, we hand-deliver all of their meals right to our members’ doorsteps.

Westchester Family: What type of meals do you offer from Feast & Fettle?

Feast & Fettle: At Feast & Fettle we offer a rotating menu which includes a number of options to choose from each week. From familiar home-style options to selections from a variety of cuisines, we keep our menus diverse where there’s always something new to try. We offer 13 entrees and sides each week, along with add-ons like soups, salads, sandwiches, mixers, and seasonal favorites.

One thing we stay committed to is keeping our ingredient lists simple and free of processed ingredients. We list every ingredient, flag common allergens, and try to offer options for a multitude of dietary preferences in each of our weekly menus.

Some current options include lobster mac and cheese, seared pork loin, flank steak, pasta salad, refried beans, and much more.

Westchester Family: How is Feast & Fettle different from what’s out there?

Feast & Fettle: There are a couple of factors that set us apart from similar businesses in the market. We are fully vertically integrated. Our team handles every step of the meal delivery process with care. From sourcing ingredients, to cooking, to packing, to hand-delivering – every step of the way a member of our staff handles your order with a commitment to keeping our items to the highest standard.

We fully-prepare all of our food, so you don’t have to worry about chopping or cooking anything, just reheating based on detailed instructions that we provide. We also don’t freeze or ship anything, all of our meals are hand-delivered fresh in our fleet of refrigerated delivery vans.

Lastly, we commit to reducing waste. Our drivers will retrieve your re-usable bags, ice packs, and cleaned out, recyclable containers the week following your order.

Westchester Family: What towns do you deliver to in Westchester?

Feast & Fettle: The only regions we will not be delivering to just yet are Mount Vernon and Yonkers. The rest of Westchester will be open for orders on our January 7th launch.

Westchester Family: Anything else to add?

Feast & Fettle: One of Feast & Fettle’s core values is “Be Generous”. As part of this commitment, we partner with community organizations all over the areas that we service. To recognize both the Westchester community and Mental Wellness Awareness Month, we will be donating $1 of every order in January to the Mental Health Association of Westchester.
