Elevation Burger

Finally, the antidote to fast food! Even nutritionists say there’s nothing wrong with a burger if it’s prepared with the best ingredients. Well, now you can let your child order a burger and avoid the guilt. Elevation Burger, a franchise operation with stores located around the world has just opened the second Westchester County location at Westchester’s Ridge Hill, 228 Market St. in Yonkers. Rye resident Daniel Magnus, who owns the exclusive franchise rights for Westchester County and Fairfield County, opened Westchester’s first location last year in Rye Brook. The Ridge Hill restaurant is located conveniently across from the movie theater on the second level.

Elevation Burger “elevates” food by using 100 percent USDA-certified organic, grass-fed, free-range beef in all their burgers. Line up to order your made-on-site burger with your choice of toppings then take a seat while your meal is brought to your table. There are fresh salads, veggie burgers, grilled cheese, fresh-cut fries made with olive oil and thick shakes and malteds. There’s fruit too!  A kid’s burger is $3.99; a regular burger $5.99; and a side of fries, $2.79. A space-age soda fountain dispenses a make-your-own soda selection. There’s still plenty of sugar here so while it may not fit the “healthy” choice it is a novelty. Booster seats and high chairs available. www.elevationburger.com.
