2024 College Fairs in Westchester

It can be jarring to think about sending your child to child. There is so much to do and consider. From costs to requirements to locations, there are several aspects of college life that comes into play.

Planning is key when deciding on what college your teen will attend. One of the best ways to do so is by attending a local college fair. Here, you and your child can meet with representatives from various colleges and universities to learn more about their programming and offerings. This includes understanding application requirements, campus life, majors offered, and more. They are also a great way to ask questions and have a one-stop shop to meet everyone in one place. Below, we are sharing a range of local college fairs happening this year in Westchester – and beyond.

Career and Resource Fair

Rockland Community College is hosting a career and resource fair for students and community members. Here, students can meet with over 60 companies. This includes a range of industries such as manufacturing, business, health, tech, and homeland security. Roles include part-time, full-time, entry-level, and professional job opportunities. Rockland Community College Fieldhouse, 145 College Road, Suffern, NY.

Thursday, April 24th from 6:00pm-7:30pm and May 5th from 12:30pm-3:30pm
SUNY College Fairs

Learn more about the SUNY college system at this college fair. This includes the chance to meet with SUNY representatives. Here, you will receive information about a range of undergraduate programs offered at The State University of New York.

Thursday, April 30th from 4:30pm-7:30pm
CT College and Career Fair

Check out a range of options at the CT College Fair. Held in Bridgeport, this fair includes the opportunity to meet with over 175 colleges, universities, gap year programs, and businesses. Students and their families will be able to connect and meet with admissions counselors and representatives from schools in the United States as well as international schools and colleges. Wednesday, May 1st from 6:00pm to 8:30 pm
Southern Westchester College Fair

Thursday, May 2nd from 9:00am-12:00pm and 5:30pm-8:00pm
Putnam – Northern Westchester Regional College Fair

Students and their families are invited to one of these two college fairs. These college fairs give students the chance to meet and speak with admissions officers and representatives from around 200 hundred colleges and universities. Here, kids can learn about various requirements, what life is like on campus, application deadlines, and majors offered and more. Colleges in attendance at the fair include Boston University, Bennington College, High Point University, University of Michigan, and much more.

Additionally, these fairs are free to high school students, parents, and anyone who is interested in pursuing college. Finally, high school students from Westchester, Putnam and Rockland Counties are invited to attend. Westchester County Center in White Plains on May 1st or Northern Westchester BOCES, Yorktown Heights, NY on May 2nd.

Spring College Fair

Attend the Spring College Fair at Archbishop Stepinac High School to learn more about a range of colleges and universities.  950 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, NY 10605.
