You’ve probably heard the big news: Matt Damon and his family are going to be Westchester residents. Since they’ll be residing in Bedford, we wanted to some of our favorite spots in this quaint Northern Westchester town. Bedford Playhouse

The Bedford Playhouse is your go-to location for both classics and the latest movies, community events, and food. Their robust programming includes plays, musicals, live music, a Playhouse Lawn Series, and Broadway in Bedford. They also have Classic Tuesdays where you can watch classics on the big screen. Bedford 234

For a bite before or after the movie, check out Bedford 234. Here, you’ll find a seasonal menu with an ode local farmers, butchers, cheese monagers, and more. DeCiccos & Sons

A visit to DeCiccos & Sons is a whole experience in and of itself where you’ll find fresh, high-quality food. Bedford Free Library

There are so many fantastic educational programs happing at the Bedford Free Library. Here, you and your childern can meet local kids, engage in storytime, and find a fantastic assortment of books. Mianus River Gorge Preserve

A 935-acre wildlife and botanical preserve, you and your family will love taking a break from it all with a hike and nature walk to the Mianus River Gorge Preserve. Discover different trails with mid-to-intermediate levels, including steep and narrow trails. The Old Growth Forest Trail (red) is 2.1 miles each way; while the Deer Exclosure Trail (orange) is 0.2 miles round trip. This includes steep slopes, stunning greenery, small waterfalls, and some incredible scenery. Parking is free but dogs are not permitted on the trail.
