It’s officially the kick off to summer with Memorial Day weekend! This weekend, you’ll find fun ways to kick-off to the season with the opening of the Westchester pools and beaches as well as ways to honor the fallen heroes at some community Memorial Day services. There are also community storytimes, movies, the 2023 Pinkster Festival, and much more. Have the best Westchester weekend!

Sleep with the Wolves

Have a very special Memorial Day weekend where you and your kids sleep with the wolves at the  Wolf Conservation Center. During the weekend, guests will enjoy a pizza party with Ambassador wolves Alawa and Nikai and hold endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves. 2023 Pinkster Festival

Held on May 27th from 10:00am-5:00pm, “The Pinkster Festival: Remembrance and Renewal” event features music, dance, drumming, and crafts and food inspired by Black culture. Held at Philipsburg Manor, the Pinkster Festival will honor and celebrate African American history and culture and look forward into a vibrant future with live performances, drumming, spoken word, dancers, singing, storytelling, food, and hands-on art activities.
