School Break Mini Camp (Cornwall)
Kids ages 6-9 years old can join the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum for their interactive nature-based Winter School Break Mini Camp. Campers will join Nature Museum Educators where they will enjoy exploring and playing outdoors. This includes playing in the fields, forest, and more. Kids will enjoy games, hands-on activities and crafts, and adventures. Campers should bring lunch, a water bottle, and dress appropriately for the weather. Sew Happy Studios (Mamaroneck)
Sew Happy offers four three-day mini camps from December 27th – 29th. Winter break camps include Me & My Doll Mini Camp Slumber Party; Sewing Holiday Machine Camp; and Draw, Shape, and Sew Fashion Camp. Katonah Art Center (Mount Kisco)
Kids will have a blast making gooey creations at the Holiday Slime Camp. Space is limited and campers must sign up for both days. They are also hosting a Holiday Multi-Arts Day Camp where kids will work with a variety of materials such as clay, painting, drawing, and more. Roam Further (Mount Kisco)
Kids ages 6-14 years old can enjoy a holiday break camp by learning some new parkour skills. Camps start with an obstacle-course warm-up into station-based rotations. This includes the use of bars, floor, climbing, trampoline, airbag, and a blend of all of these skills. The camp has a half-day option from 9:30am-12:00pm and a full-day option from 9:30am- 2:00pm. The Rock Club Mini Camp (New Rochelle)
Have your kids moving and climbing over break at The Rock Club. The camp is offered for kids ages 6-10 where they will be moving and active over break! Sessions costs $375 for a full week of half day sessions or $75 for individual session signups. You can also pick 9:00am-12:15pm, or 12:45pm-4:00pm. Chris Ward Basketball Camp (Yorktown Heights)
Join former college basketball coach, Chris Ward, and his team at this academy-style skill camp. The winter break camp focuses on developing your child’s skills in shooting, ball handling, footwork, on/off the ball moves, and player awareness. School’s Out Camp at Club Fit (Briarcliff Manor and Jefferson Manor)
Both Club Fit locations offer a School’s Out Camp. The camp is designed for kids ages 5-12 years old and runs from 8:00am-4:00pm. Late pick-up until 6:00pm is also available for an additional fee. Campers enjoy a full-day of activities, such as basketball, kickball, pillow hockey, soccer, swimming, tennis, arts & crafts and more. Rates vary per location. Kids ages 3–5 and 6–12 will enjoy recreational activities at the Saw Mill Club Mini Camp. This includes tennis, swimming, games, arts and crafts, Yoga, Zumba, and various sports. Kids should bring a bathing suit and cap and they can order lunches through the restaurant or pack a lunch. Teatown Holidaze Mini Camp (Ossining)
Teatown offers a fun outdoor mini camp for nature lovers. Kids are broken into groups called froglets (age 4-5); owlets (age 6-7); and rangers (age 8-13) where they will spend the day outdoors, learning about the wonders of winter. Campers will explore Teatown’s various habitats along with playing games and constructing crafts. Full day campers should pack a lunch and snack. The program for 4-5 year olds runs from 9:00am-12:00pm and the program for age 6-12 runs from 9:00am-3:00pm. All campers should dress for the weather. World Cup Gymnastics (Chappaqua)
Kids can enjoy a full-day or half day of movement and fun at World Cup Gymnastics. Full-day runs from 9:30am-2:30pm and the half-day option runs from 9:30am-12:30pm. School’s Out/Art’s In Winter 2023 at the Katonah Museum of Art (Katonah)
Kids ages 3-8 and ages 9-12 can enjoy a week of art and crafting at the Katonah Museum of Art. Workshops include embroidery techniques, printmaking, circular weaving, and fabric collage.
