Here’s some good news. The Katonah Art Center (KAC) has moved to a huge and newly renovated space. And better yet, it is just five minutes north of the former location in a charming 1912 Schoolhouse. Parents will be happy to find more parking and a Parent Lounge.
There are larger Fine Arts Studios, a Specialty Studio for stone, metal, wood, glass and printmaking and a huge Clay and Pottery Studio. There’s also a handy art supply retail store and a large children’s studio and party room. Make sure to visit the new roomy Anderson Chase Gallery that features changing exhibits.
As always, KAC offers specialty workshops for all ages, 121 visual arts classes, music classes, kid’s birthday parties and holiday and summer camps. There’s something for every age at KAC. Try your hand at cartooning, jewelry making, fashion, painting, sculpture, photography or Suzuki Guitar and much more at this local art hub.
