A new Westchester Art Studio in Pleasantville has opened its doors and hearts to kids and teens looking to roll up their sleeves and express themselves through art.
Owners and local residents, Amy Shaw, a graphic artist, painter and art teacher, and Alan Reingold, a world-renowned artist with more than 20 years of experience teaching at schools such as Parsons School of Design and Rhode Island School of Design, as well as creating covers and pages for national magazines including Time, Newsweek and Fortune, provide instruction for young artists at every level.
Private and semi-private lessons are available or select a group class such as After School Mondays – Art Explore for kids ages 4 to 5 and 6 to 11 or an evening session Drawing & Painting for Teens, ages 12 to 17.
