Westchester Children's Museum Gala

Westchester Children’s Museum (WCM) will be a learning laboratory providing children, families, and school groups throughout Westchester County and the surrounding region with the opportunity to nurture curiosity, enhance knowledge, and ignite imagination through hands-on exploration. WCM is committed to broadening knowledge of the arts, the environment, multiculturalism, and the local and global communities in an educational and recreational atmosphere. For more information about WCM or to support the museum through a donation, please visit www.discoverWCM.org.

WCM’s “Boardwalk Bound” gala will include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction filled with one-of-a-kind items such as two audience tickets to a live taping of Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” hosted by Andy Cohen, four VIP tickets to a live taping of “Good Morning America” with a behind-the-scenes tour, and two tickets to a live taping of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” among other exclusive getaways, fine dining, sports packages and luxury goods. Event emcee Jené Luciani, TV personality, author, and Westchester resident, will provide one lucky lady with a red carpet makeover and the opportunity to model on the TODAY show, including a behind-the-scenes tour plus hair, makeup and limo service to and from Manhattan’s 30 Rock. Bidding will open online one week prior to the event and for the first time, bidding will be conducted entirely online during the auction using smart phones. All proceeds will benefit the campaign for the Westchester Children’s Museum.

This year’s “Boardwalk Bound” gala will honor Lynn and Ray Quartarano of Rye; the latter is a WCM Board Member and both have remained longtime supporters of the museum. Former Ossining educator Helen Williams (daughter/actress Vanessa is on WCM’s Advisory Board) will present Dr. Barbara Peters, Superintendent of the Elmsford School District, with the Milton A. Williams, Jr. Scholars in Education Award.

Individual tickets are available for purchase online. For more information, please call 914-421-5050 or visit http://discoverwcm.org/gala
