This weekend is all about outdoor festivals! From the San Gennaro Feast of Yorktown to Septemberfest in Mount Kisco to the Lewisboro Library Fair, there are tons of fun ways to soak in the beauty of this season and have fun with your kids. This weekend also kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month where you can celebrate at the Westchester Children’s Museum and enjoy different cultures at the Sleepy Hollow Culture Festival.

San Gennaro Feast of Yorktown

Enjoy a delicious feast, live music, and a statue procession (on Wednesday, September 14th) at the  San Gennaro Feast of Yorktown. The event also includes rides, games, wine, and beer. Commerce Street and Railroad Park, Yorktown, NY.

Lewisboro Library Fair

The annual Lewisboro Library Fair is back! The Library Fair is the largest community event in Lewisboro. The fair featuring attic treasures, book sales, food trucks, games, a car show, shopping from local vendors, live music, silent auction, beer garden, the return of the dunk tank, and much more. Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst

Enjoy a weekend of fall crafts at Lyndhurst where you can discover unique items from over 200 craftspeople and artisans. This includes original fashions, accessories, and jewelry, ceramics, fine art painting, printmaking, drawing, and photography. The festival also has food trucks and tastings from local distilleries, wineries, and cider houses. Bee Day

Develop a better understanding of bees at Bee Day. At this free event, you and your kids can meet a beekeeper at the Homestead’s apiary. The day includes an 11:00 am Introduction to Beekeeping; 1:00 pm Westchester Beekeepers Network monthly meeting, and 3:00 pm Gardening for Bees. Pico-Pico Papel Picado

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the Westchester Children’s Museum. Your kids will have the opportunity to learn about the art of papel picodo, a traditional Mexican folk art with elaborate designs. Sleepy Hollow Culture Festival

The 2nd Annual Toonerville Music Festival features Living Colour, Strand of Oaks, Eliza & The Delusionals, and 12 other great acts performing on two-stages, all to raise money for Pelham Civic Association.
