The Center for Literacy Enrichment, a division of the Pace University School of Education, is hosting a symposium for educators, administrators, psychologists and parents to discuss the
issues associated with reading and the brain.
Keynote speakers, Joanna A. Christodoulou, Ed.D. Human Development and Psychology, Harvard and Tracy M. Centanni, Ph.D. Cognition and Neuroscience, University of Texas at Dallas will discuss the science and genetics behind what happens in the brain when a child learns and reads as well as difficulties with learning, language and learning impairments and
possible solutions.
