Mother’s Day is approaching - Sunday, May 12th - and since it’s one of the busiest restaurant days of the year we suggest you make your reservations early. This is a day set aside to pamper mom so getting her away from the stove will certainly be appreciated. These three locations will add a little flair in mom’s day. Dress nicely and enjoy the grown-up atmosphere.

The Atrium at Doral Arrowwood

A very popular Mother’s Day brunch is served at this light and airy, classy conference center. Brunch is served buffet style with something for everyone including carving stations, seafood, pastas, salads, fruit and a dessert table.

Step back in time in this 1790’s carriage house for this high-end buffet brunch featuring a carving station, cold seafood, pastas, vegetables, cheeses, salads, baked goods and of course desserts.

A special Mother’s Day Brunch is being served in the Lobby Lounge. Sit near the intimate fireplace and enjoy the complimentary glass of lass of Schramsberg Blanc de Blanc along with an assortment of Chef’s canapés, including Foie Gras Pate, Tuna Poke Wonton, and Watermelon Feta Kabob. The menu includes petite sandwiches, such as Maine Lobster Rolls with Toasted Almonds and Roasted Vegetable Terraine on Open Faced Brioche, and warm and fresh homemade scones from their in-house bakery. To wrap up the afternoon have a Rose Water and Kaffir Lime Sponge Cake, topped with a citrus glaze.

Bicycle Sundays

A great Westchester tradition gets rolling again! Bike, jog, walk or skate a 13.1-mile loop of the Bronx River Parkway, which is closed to cars for select Sundays, including Mother’s Day!
