Amadeus Summer Theater and Art Day Camp

The hills are alive this summer in Chappaqua. This performing arts musical theater and art camp is featuring “The Sound of Music.” Kids explore acting, singing, song writing, and ensemble work. Add to that private music lessons in two instruments, drawing and painting, dance, design and set building! The summer culminates with a performance in a professional theatre.

Artistree Performing Arts Camp

Artistree Performing Arts (formerly Applause Westchester) holds theater present camps for school breaks and all summer long! Owners Heather and Peter Capelle hold week-long performing arts camps where students engage in acting, singing, dancing, and filmmaking. Three age groups (ages 3-5, grades K-3, grades 4 & 5 grade) help children explore the arts in age-appropriate ways. Artistree’s three-week summer intensives allow students to put on a full musical! Coaching and other opportunities open to older kids.

Broadway Training Center of Westchester

Broadway Training Center of Westchester runs six Performing Arts Workshops this summer where kids can “develop character on and off stage.” Workshops include: Stage to Screen; The Tempest; One Act Festival; Sprouting Stars; Young Actors; Teen Intensive. Each intensive is one-week long and is specially suited to a specific age. Several of the weeklong workshops include a mini performance on the final day of the session.

Curtain Call

Curtain Call offers two programs for youngsters Summerstock and Summerstock Junior. Each is a full-day, conservatory-style summer workshop program. Kids in age-appropriate groups, rotate between a variety of subjects including acting, improv, voice and dance. No experience required. Play Group Summer Theatre Programs

At The Play Group Theatre, kids find their imaginations challenged and their creative soul nurtured. PGT offers professional-quality training in a one-of-a-kind artistically challenging, yet nurturing environment. Summer Stars at Scarsdale Synagogue

This warm and nurturing seven-week program is for children 18 months to 5 years. Campers are engaged in fun, summer activities such as sports, music, art, story time, water play and much more. Theater O

This summer Theater O offers The Camp of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Housed on Bethany Arts Community’s beautiful Ossining campus, the camp is open to muggles ages 8-14. Staffed by Theater O, TCoWaW explores the magical world of The Boy Who Lived through theater, art, music, puppetry, storytelling, games and more.
