Let’s face it, who do parents ask when they want the truth about a neighborhood shop, an afterschool class or a party entertainer? Other parents of course!

This is what the Westchester Family Family Favorites contest is all about. We’ve asked you, our readers, what your favorites are in 40 categories. We’ve tallied the numbers and here are the results. Each category has an alphabetized list of the top five finalists with a highlight of the overall winner.

Keep this article handy so you can refer to it all year long. Tell your friends too. This list is compiled through a random survey of Westchester Family magazine readers, enewsletter subscribers and social media followers between March 1, 2017 and May 31, 2017.
