Hayrides

 At Stuart’s Fruit Farm you can pick your own pumpkin right off the vine! This oldest apple orchard in Westchester County also offers tractor-drawn hayrides that take

visitors up a hill to beautiful scenic views. The 20-minute ride costs $3 per person. Make sure to stop by the farm stand and bakery.

Fall Festival

Every weekend from Labor Day to Halloween there’s a Fall Festival at this family-owned and operated apple orchard. Pick pumpkins in the pumpkin patch then try the bouncy

house, kids’ games, pony rides, face painting and hayrides. The farm store offers farm-fresh eggs, fresh milk from Ronnybrook Dairy Farm and apple cider donuts.

Homemade Donuts

Salinger’s makes apple cider donuts right on the premises. Nothing beats a warm fresh donut and apple cider. The bakery here also has fresh pies, cakes, tea cakes, scones and even unbaked pies for you to take home and bake. This family-owned operation

takes orders for Thanksgiving and Christmas pies.

Extra Fun

Yes, there are pumpkins to pick, but you can also spend the better part of the day letting kids blow off steam in the Little Village, a mini-sized replica of a New England farm town. There are train rides on weekends, playful goats that roam the farm, scenic views and tasty refreshments.
