Join Dream, the 2014 Grand Marshall of the Maria Faria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center annual Go the Distance Walk & Family Fun Day, as she represents the thousands of children that have been cared for at the hospital. Dream, a fourth-grader from Ossising, has overcome significant medical challenges and is an inspiration to children and adults.
The fun happens on May 4th with registration from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Then everyone walks the casual one-mile route and the fun continues with tons of family fun until noon. Since 2004, the hospital hads provided lifesaving and life-changing care to more than 150,000 of the regions most seriously ill and injured children.
