Walkway Over the Hudson is a 1.28-mile long walk on an old railway bridge in Poughkeepsie offers great views and a sense of adventure. walkway.org.
Bicycle Sundays is a time when a portion of The Bronx River Parkway is closed to motorists and free and open to cyclists, skaters, scooters, walkers, joggers and strollers.
