A Doll Tea


Celebrate the newest book in Kevin Henkes’ Penny series for young readers with a tea party! Bring your favorite doll to share afternoon tea. Listen to the story of sweet Penny’s doll-naming dilemma as you enjoy tea for two: tea sandwiches, scones with devon cream and jam, cupcakes, pink lemonade and a nice pot of tea. The cost of $30 covers parent or caregiver and child plus a 10% discount on the book “Penny and Her Doll.” Grown-ups: bring your cameras! Best suited for ages 4 – 7. Family Art Project

Art and environmentalism are combined in this workshop, which teaches kids how to make portraits out of recycled materials.
