Westchester Jewish Community Services has launched a new program called CORDD: Crisis Oriented Response Team for Developmental Disabilities. It is designed to assist families struggling through a crisis with an autistic or developmentally disabled family member. CORDD works with the family for a six-week period to stabilize the situation and prevent further behavioral or emotional crises. See www.wjcs.com for more information.
