Dwight Summer Day Camp

Dwight Summer Day Camp is a full-day co-ed day camp for children ages 4–13 years old that combines traditional camp activities with the opportunity to ignite the spark of genius in every camper. Campers participate in an extensive range of activities including the performing arts, video game design, and 2D and 3D art. In addition, campers partake in fencing, basketball, tennis, martial arts and circus arts, leadership opportunities, and swimming. Based upon age and preference, campers have the ability to customize their day with choice periods and focus programs. Focus programs enable campers to spend more time pursuing activities of their choice with highly trained staff that specializes in the particular activity. Younger campers take one day trip per week to age-appropriate trip sites throughout Manhattan and the surrounding areas. In addition to a weekly day trip, our older campers travel to an overnight destination every two weeks. All campers participate in theme days and a week-long color war. Located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Dwight Summer Day Camp offers stop-to-stop bus transportation throughout Manhattan’s East and West sides for an additional cost. Pre- and after-camp services are also available for an additional cost. Campers have the option to attend for two, four, or eight weeks during the summer. For a taste of summer, Dwight Summer Day Camp offers a modified camp program called mini-camp during all extended school breaks. Call camp director Jessica Starkman or visit our website for additional information.
