Did you know the man who brought us the classic children’s story "Corduroy" also had a long career as an artist who documented New York? In this exhibition, see Don Freeman’s wonderful interpretations of the city through drawings, paintings, publications and prints, plus enjoy his original studies and sketches of Corduroy and other characters.

When: Friday, May 31, 10am–6pm

Forget what you think you know about the King of the Dinosaurs. This special exhibition explores the full tyrannosaur story with life-sized reconstructions at various life stages, real fossils and casts, large-scale video projections, hands-on interactives and an exhilarating virtual reality experience that lets visitors work in a group to assemble a T. rex skeleton.

A roaring good time is back at the Bronx Zoo! Take the biggest, most realistic dinosaur ride in America to see 40 life-size animatronic dinos. Learn about species such as T-Rex and Spinosaurus and connections between animals at the zoo and their prehistoric predecessors. Plus, visit the fossil dig area, take photos and more.

Enjoy stories, songs and games for toddlers that encourage their emerging language skills, followed by a play time.

Discover bulbs and buds as they wake up and seeds sprout. Search for plants and animals in the Children’s Garden as they grow and change through the season. Make a seed sprouting tape to plant at home and design a button that proclaims why you love plants.
