It’s pumpkin power! Meander through an 18th century riverside landscape and discover a breathtaking display -- all made of jack o’ lanterns! Wander along our main street Pumpkin Promenade and stroll across the Pumpkin Zee Bridge. You will discover an awe-inspiring jack o’lantern Statue of Library rising high in the sky!

6:30.

Families with babies, toddlers and young children can enjoy nature by hiking together in this weekly walk. Join in for a one hour hike with tykes, led by Museum Educator.

9:30am.

Tours of this historic site begin for the season on April 1. This lovely but unassuming country church has a stained glass window by Henri Matisse (his last work of art) and nine windows created by Marc Chagall. These glorious windows are on display for visitors. Tours are subject to congregation activities; call for daily schedule.

10am–5pm.

The Aquarium has a newly expanded exhibit space for its jellyfish - some of the most-strangely beautiful and painfully dangerous creatures of the sea. This new exhibit educates and fascinates visitors in a bigger space, offering a better look at moon jellies and brown sea nettles, as well as the giant Pacific octopus.

10am–6pm.

The Aquarium is featuring a new exhibit featuring a rescued baby loggerhead sea turtle, who will be followed through its first year of life, before being released into the ocean next fall.

Over 300 scarecrows are decorated and arrayed along the entry to Lyndhurst as part of the Mansion’s annual celebration of Halloween season. There are other spooky decorations as well as the natural beauty of the changing leaves on the grounds.

10am–5pm.

There are two new exciting experiences to be had at the Bronx Zoo, and both are part of the Treetop Adventure Program. One experience - called Climb - is an aerial adventure course consisting of rope bridges, rope walks, ladders, wobbly bridges and swinging elements. There are various levels of difficulty. The other adventure offered is Zipline, allowing guests to zip across the Bronx River 50 feet …

Appointments between 10am–5pm.

Lucia Beltram leeds childen 4 to 6 years in old in this 7 Week series to a healthier lifestyle through yoga. Kids yoga, in particular, offers a chance to develop more communicative relationships, learn about their bodies and also inspires laughter and happiness, and develops a range of essential skills in a nurturing and non-competitive environment.

3:15–4pm.

Kids enjoy a riveting holiday experience when they listen to spooky stories celebrating Halloween. Following the stories, hot cider and ghostly cookies are served. Everyone goes home with a prize and children are welcome to come in costume.

3:30pm.

One of the most amazing rising stars in the magic world performs his explosive mix of cutting edge illusions, daring escapes and outrageous stunts. Come see this intensely entertaining and totally different show.

6:15pm.

Come in costume to the library’s traditional storytelling and mummy-wrapping extravaganza. It’s a fun Halloween celebration for kids and their mummies. Or daddies.

7–8pm.
