Mama and Baby Yoga will help you stretch, strengthen, and breathe while bonding with your baby and getting to know other new moms. Our classes offer a mix of strengthening and restorative movement for mamas as well as yoga poses done with your baby. You will feel centered, strong, energized, and at ease with your new baby. Bring a blanket for your baby, mats are provided.

Pick your own apples & pumpkins. The process for apple picking consists of parking in the designated field past the flag pole. Check in is at the Red Pavilion for bags, baskets, and picking poles (available for a small rental fee with a deposit). At this point you will be asked to pay for the minimum* quantity given your party size in order to enter the orchard. Then your group may ride the hay …

Pick-your-own season kicks off in early June with the farm’s certified organic strawberries. As the season rolls on, you can also pick sweet and sour cherries, organic raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, peaches and nectarines. Check website for availability.

Our one of a kind farm is a must see during the Fall season. Take a trip up to scenic Croton Falls and walk through our Apple orchard as the leaves change color around you. A roaring good time is back at the Bronx Zoo! Take the biggest, most realistic dinosaur ride in America to see 40 life-size animatronic dinos. Learn about species such as T-Rex and Spinosaurus and connections between animals at the zoo and their prehistoric predecessors. Plus, visit the fossil dig area, take photos and more.

Explore this car-free, 172-acre island gem in the heart of New York Harbor. Enjoy Slide Hill, play fountains, hammocks, biking, kayaking and many other activities throughout the summer. Check website for schedule.

Children of all ages can explore the wonders of science and nature in our outdoor 12-acre garden. Climb the boulders and view the landscape below from your high perch, dash through Beth’s Maze, and check out the cattails and lily pads at Habitat Hub.

Join us for live animal encounters on our new "Sea Star Stage!"

Watch as the seals are fed and exhibit entertaining behaviors, including waving, jumping, snorting and retrieving.

The class always begins with washing our hands, and gathering around the table. After putting on their aprons the kids are introduced to the ingredients and the name of the dish they will make. Each ingredients is explored, and children are encouraged to touch, smell and taste each of them.

Pick fresh fruit with amazing flavor at this farm in Dutchess County. Strawberries are ready in June, followed later by blueberries, apples and more.

Join the community path for environmental education. This is a guided trail experience through the woodland forest. Specially-trained “Trail Ninja” volunteers provide information on trees, plants, wildlife, and seasonal changes. Topics vary each week. An ideal way to get acquainted with their trail system.
