We get two kinds of rays from the sun. One is UVB, and the other is UVA. UVB rays can cause sunburn and cancer. UVA can cause skin cancer, and early wrinkling and skin aging. Cirque du Soleil’s Paramour

Hot Topics: From New York to Las Vegas, I have rarely missed a Cirque du Soleil show.  Their combination of high-flying acrobatics and nouveau-circus acts requiring tremendous strength and coordination have never ceased to take my breath away. And so too does Cirque du Soleil’s latest show, Paramour. The stars are trapeze artists Samuel William Charlton and his wife Myriam Deraiche, and strap artists (twin brothers) Kevin and Andrew Atherton. Youth Hearing Loss Spikes

Technology: One in five American teens now suffer from some form of hearing loss, according to a study by the Journal of the American Medical Association. In 1994 that rate was roughly one in eight. Much of this rise in teen hearing loss is attributed to Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL). A form of hearing loss that develops when the mechanisms of the inner ear are damaged by prolonged exposure to harmful sound levels. Read more…
