The Chapel School
About Us
The Chapel School (TCS) has provided a place of belonging to a wonderfully diverse community since 1947, where we “Know, Live and Share the Love of Christ”.
TCS Preschool is a “Great Place to Grow” for 2- to 5-year-olds, as they explore their curiosity through discovery and play. Dedicated staff nurture each child’s whole development of mind, body, and spirit, celebrate individuality and lay a foundation for a life-long love of learning. Social-emotional growth and basic academic concepts are introduced and reinforced so that students are Kindergarten Ready after they successfully complete our 4s Program. Program options include: 2 Sections of 2-Day 2s (Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday) PLUS a NEW 5-Day Option for 2025-2026; 5-Day 3s AM PLUS NEW Extended Day (1:00 PM Dismissal) and Full Day (2:15 PM Dismissal) Options for 2025-2026; PreK 4s (1:00 PM Dismissal); and, Jr. K 4s (2:15 PM Dismissal). We also plan to add NEW weekly Music and Movement Classes for Caregiver
The Chapel School (TCS) Lower School‘s focus in Kindergarten through 4th Grade is to provide our students with a quality academic program where they are challenged to reach their potential. TCS’s iReady program allows teachers to assess math and reading skills according to NYS’s Next Generation Standards, and provide students with individualized plans for growth and challenge. Kindergarten students enjoy 1-to-1 iPads and 1st-4th Grade students now have 1-to-1 ChromeBooks!
The Chapel Middle School (TCMS) is departmentalized and prepares 5th-8th Graders for high school and beyond, partnering with families to meet the increasingly complex social, physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs of today’s ‘tweens’. Technology is integrated throughout the day, as all classrooms are equipped with interactive smartboards, and all TCMS students have their own ChromeBooks, Google Classroom Accounts and access to the Tech Lab to explore coding, robotics, music/video production and more.
