After your baby is born, and you’re recovered, you’ll likely be ready to get out and immerse yourself in the world again. Tig & Peach

This immersive and fun “play, learn, gather, celebrate” space was created by two moms, Amanda Star (Tig) and Emily Donnelly (Peach). With locations in Rye and Pelham, babies and their parents/caregivers will be able to enjoy a wide-range of baby and me classes. This includes baby, music, and movement; explore and play; and music and movement, to name a few options.

Additionally, the bright, modern space includes a huge play structure and a giant magnetic wall for open play. Here, babies and kids will find a tool bench, a dress-up space, a marketplace, a play kitchen, a tent, and much more.

Katonah Museum of Art

The popular Museum Stroller Tours program allows parents to take a tour of the museum with babies in strollers. Once a month, parents with their babies and pre-toddlers are invited to the museum before it opens to the public for a discussion and some fun with art. Incredibly, this is a fun baby and me program in Westchester that brings together art, parenting, and camaraderie. In addition, refreshments for parents are included. Westchester Libraries 

We are so fortunate in Westchester that free baby and me classes can be found at most of the public libraries. This includes the Bedford Free Library (32 Village Green, Bedford, NY 10506); the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library (276 Titicus Rd., North Salem, NY); the Chappaqua Public Library (195 South Greeley Avenue, Chappaqua, NY 10514); the Katonah Village Library ( 26 Bedford Road, Katonah, NY 10536); and the New Rochelle Public Library (1 Library Plaza, New Rochelle, NY 10801), to name a few options.

Westchester’s Children’s Museum

Westchester Children’s Museum has several programs for baby and me fun. This includes Museum Minis where you can meet other families at Toddler Beach for songs, movement, stories and plenty of fun. The program is geared towards caregivers and their infants and toddlers. Museum Minis is hosted every Wednesday and Saturday at 11:30am. Additionally, the program is free with museum admission.

Mommy and Baby Yoga

Stay active with your baby at a pre/postnatal yoga and Mommy and Baby Yoga class in Westchester. These classes are a great way to meet other parents while getting or staying in shape. In general, Mommy and Baby Yoga classes include stretching and toning. Additionally, they may also include deepening breathing techniques and relaxation. Swimming Class

Enrolling in a swim class is another fun option for baby and me fun in Westchester. Firstly, get your infant or toddler used to the water as they engage in aquatic activities. Secondly, this includes more formal lessons as they older. Hike

Place your baby in their carrier as you go for a steady-paced hike in Westchester. Rockefeller State Park Preserve (125 Phelps Way, Pleasantville, NY 10570) has an even path around the pond, offering beautiful views as your baby looks around or sleeps. Additionally, check out Anthony’s Nose in Peekskill, NY and Westmoreland in Mount Kisco.

Stroller Strides

Stroller Strides classes incorporate power walking with your stroller. Additionally, this includes intervals of strength and body toning. Classes are taught by certified fitness instructors and offered at Kensico Dam in White Plains, Pierson Park and Tarrytown Fitness Center in Tarrytown, and The Westchester Mall. While classes are designed for fitness, they also incorporate friendship-building. Additionally, Stroller Strides is also offered in Rockland and Yorktown.
