Big Truck Tuesdays

As part of the ongoing children’s event series, the Scarsdale Public Library is brining back Big Truck Tuesdays. Local children of all ages are invited to the library on May 14 and May 28 at 4 p.m. to explore trucks from the Scarsdale Highway Department and Scarsdale Police and Fire Departments.

This fun and educational event will allow children to discover the trucks they see at work regularly in their community and learn from the professionals responsible for driving and maintaining such important equipment. Children can ask questions, have a meaningful hands-on experience and possibly even climb aboard.

“We are pleased to be working in partnership with these local departments to offer such a unique opportunity to our younger library patrons,” stated Karen Zielinski, Children’s Services Manager. “Big Truck Tuesdays is just one of many quality children’s programs we are proud to offer each month at The Scarsdale Library.”

Bring your child to The Scarsdale Public Library parking lot located at 54 Olmstead Road, Scarsdale NY 10583 at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, May 14th to visit with the Scarsdale Highway Department and on Tuesday, May 28  to visit with the Scarsdale Police and Fire Departments.
