 Explore-a-thon! Fabulous Family Fun

Westchester Children’s Museum (WCM) can officially say they are now “at home.”  Since recently receiving their lease at Rye Playland’s North Bathhouse, plans are moving forward to create a hands-on, educational children’s museum that will become a second home for many Westchester families.

Enjoy a day of family fun and help support the building of this dynamic new venue at the annual WCM Explore-a-thon! Children of all ages and adults can participate in a festival of hands-on activities from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday June 3rd at Rye Town Park.

The all-inclusive admission fee of  $5 per person benefits the campaign to build this much-needed museum. Feel free to register on the WCM website, or just drop-in on event day. Interested families can also sponsor a family in need for $75 (transportation and material costs). This fee also includes entry to the event for the sponsor and sponsor’s family. Call 421-5050 for more information on the sponsorship program. www.discoverwcm.org.
